Grand Prize Contest Rules & Regulations

1. To enter: Visit www.theperfectsteak.com and sign up to receive The Perfect Steak Company Grilling Course by email.

2. Start date is June 7, 2006

3. In the event of a dispute regarding submission of an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized holder of the e-mail account. The authorized e-mail account holder is the individual who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address. The selected entrant may be required to provide The Perfect Steak Company with proof that he or she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. No responsibility will be taken for any failure of the web site during the promotion or for any problems or technical malfunction or Internet entry not received by The Perfect Steak Company, including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the contest. The Perfect Steak Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Internet portion of this contest should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of The Perfect Steak Company, corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, The Perfect Steak Company reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are altered or tampered with in any way.

4. To be eligible: Limit of one no purchase necessary entry (online entry form) per household. Entries must be submitted online no later than the MIDNIGHT (E.S.T.) on the closing date. There are 4 closing dates per year; March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. The Perfect Steak Company will not be responsible for entries or requests that are late, lost, destroyed, wrongly addressed or not received by the Contest Closing Date for whatever reason. By signing up for The Perfect Steak Company Grilling Guide Course all entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules of the Contest and the decisions of the judges, which are final. Entries become the sole property of The Perfect Steak Company and will not be returned.

5. Prizes: There will be one (1) grand prize per quarter. The grand prize consists of a Broil King BBQ of the choosing of the The Perfect Steak Company. The awarding of the grand prize is conditional on the winner having reached the age of majority. All taxes will be the responsibility of the Contest Sponsors. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non refundable, have no cash surrender value and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. Contest Sponsors reserve the rights, at their sole discretion, to substitute the prize(s) awarded with (a) prize(s) of equivalent or greater value for any reason, including, but not limited to: production delays caused by labor disruptions, part shortages, adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen events; end of model year availability; and for any other reasons.

6. Draws: The grand prize draw will be made 7 days after the closing date for each quarter. In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer a time limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by mail (or by telephone at a prearranged, mutually convenient time), and will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded. No substitution for, or transfer of any prize or portion of a prize, will be allowed except at sponsor’s option. All prizes will be delivered only to the confirmed winner. Chances of winning are solely dependent on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. The contest is open to all residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their Province of residence as of the contest start date. The Contest is not open to employees, representatives and agents of The Perfect Steak Company or the Onward Manufacturing Company, its affiliates, its advertising and promotional agencies or to any person with whom any of the foregoing are domiciled.

8. All decisions are final. The chances of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received through the internet. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

9. All entries become the property of The Perfect Steak Company. In the event that the The Perfect Steak Company is unable to notify a selected participant within a reasonable time (14 days), a new participant will be selected. Entrants by entering this Contest, consent to the use of their name and/or photograph, without compensation, in any future publicity carried out by The Perfect Steak Company in connection with this Contest.

10. The winner will be required to sign a declaration and release, releasing The Perfect Steak Company. and their advertising and promotional agencies, sponsors and all stores in which this contest is run, from all liabilities in connection with the awarding and use of the prize, in order to be awarded the prize.

11. The Perfect Steak Company. respects your right to privacy. Information provided will not be disclosed to third parties. We will only use the personal contact information you provide for the purposes of the Contest and to deliver The Perfect Steak Company Grilling Course and Monthly Newsletter to you by email. Your Personal information will not be sold or traded with any person, or company for any reason with your consent.

12. Liability: Contest Sponsors, their directors, officers, partners, dealers and employees shall not be responsible for: any injuries, loss or damages of any kind (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) with respect to, or in any way arising from, this contest or the Prize awarded. Entry materials that have been tampered with, reproduced, falsified or altered are void. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of laws and may be subject to remedies and damages, including criminal prosecution.
